Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the TaskList Bot Discord application (“the Bot”, “the Service”). By adding the Bot to your Discord server or using any of its commands, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Bot you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (the minimum age required by Discord’s Terms of Service) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Bot on behalf of a Discord server, you represent that you have the authority to bind that server and its members to these Terms.

The Bot is operated by an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord, Google, or Notion.


3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  1. Use the Bot lawfully. You will not use the Bot in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  2. Provide accurate information. Credentials such as Notion integration tokens and Google Calendar IDs you supply must be yours or ones you are authorised to use.
  3. Keep credentials secure. You are solely responsible for any Notion integration tokens you submit via /setup. Never share tokens that grant broader access than necessary.
  4. Not abuse the Service. You will not attempt to overload, reverse-engineer, exploit vulnerabilities in, or otherwise disrupt the Bot or its underlying infrastructure.
  5. Comply with third-party terms. When linking Google Calendar or Notion, you remain bound by Google’s Terms of Service and Notion’s Terms of Service respectively.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Bot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data is stored, why, and how you can request its deletion. By using the Bot you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy.


7. Availability and Uptime

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. The developer does not guarantee any specific level of uptime, availability, or response time. The Bot may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or any other reason at any time without notice.


8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE BOT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE BOT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.


9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE BOT. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, MISSED TASKS OR DEADLINES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES.


10. Termination

You may stop using the Bot and remove all your data at any time by running /unlink in Discord. The developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Bot for any user or server that violates these Terms, without prior notice.


11. Changes to These Terms

The developer may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.


12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable local law.
